J Catharine's World! J
Hello, and welcome to my home page. Right now, I'm just starting out with it, so it's not too exciting, but I'll be working on it over the summer, so it should be pretty cool eventually. Also, as if it wasn't obvious, I'm lazy and am just using a template to put my information into for now. J

I'm a student! So, I just study, or worry about not studying. And sleep. I like sleep. It's good.
Back to topMy very first webpage (it's for a class, so it has some assignments I did on it.)

I've just gotten a lot of different free email addresses lately. I got bored, and was procrastinating.
Back to topHmm. Well, current projects for me include:
Well, I'm 21, born and raised in Western Washington. I've lived in Seattle, Forks, and Port Angeles. I liked Seattle, went to high school in Forks and Port Angeles, and had an interesting time there (though interesting does not necessarily imply good.) I played the violin in the Youth Symphony, the high school Chamber orchestra, and the high school Symphonic Orchestra. I was also on the high school debate team, which was fun, except for I had a different debate partner every single tournament I went to.
I applied to 10 colleges and ended up going to Berkeley on a Chancellor's Scholarship. I majored in Anthropology, and I was also premed. I was on the debate team for the first year at Cal, and did pretty well, since I actually had a partner that I worked well with. But then he went to Costa Rica, and my new partner and I didn't work out so well, and then half of the team quit due to intrateam conflict (student run debate teams can be very dangerous.)
I've had an interesting time at Cal. I've been involved in various activities and I've met some really great friends who I plan to keep in touch with. At this point though, I'm really excited about the prospect of graduating and leaving Cal NOW. The thought of being here another year or even a semester is just too scary. I'll be heading off to medical school in the fall, at the University of Chicago. Which will be an exciting and new experience, since it's the farthest I've ever been from home, as well as the first time I've lived away from the west coast.
Things I'm really interested in right now:
I love TV. It's the greatest thing ever. I watch too much of it, but there's not too much other stuff to do around Cal. Except study. Could just be senioritis on my part.
Here are my favorite TV shows:
The X-Files! I love it! I'm not totally sick about it like some people on the net, who've decided to start the Church of David Duchovny. I always watch it with my friend Megan, who kicks ass.
The Simpsons. They keep on getting weirder and weirder, and they are so much fun.
Ally McBeal. True, it may not be the best show for women's rights, but I find it funny, though I have a fear of ending up like Renee, though she's a cool person and all.
I also like to read, though in my time at Cal, I haven't had too much free time to read just for fun. But, I intend to read a lot this summer. Because who knows how much free time I'll have once I'm in medical school?
Last Revised: Today! Heh heh.
